NHS cuts

While it's has been a cash cow under Labour, the government should look to see where all the increased funding has been going.
1. 4 managers to each patient is not good
2. Billions spent on I.T. which has failed and old processes still in place
3. Pharmaceutical companies
4. Foreigners coming in for free

This is just to name 4 items. Here are my solutions:
1. Cut Management by 50% and stop bonuses and take on more nurses and increase nurses pay.
2. Stop all I.T. funding for a centralized system. You pay peanuts, you get monkeys, which is why it's failing. Shouldn't have cost more than 100 million pounds.
3. Stop making excessive payments to Pharmaceutical companies whereby some have a vested interest in certain medication. Apparently this adds up to billions as well.
4. Stop Foreigners taking free NHS and to prove they have 3 years of N.I. payments and employment taxes paid to government. This will save billions as well

Estimate of savings Stg 10+ bn at least !!!

Coalition to tell unemployed to 'get on your bike'

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/politics/conservative/7856349/Coalition-to-tell-unemployed-to-get-on-your-bike.html
All very well and a reasonable idea except:
People will want relocation allowance
People will want new furnishings on benefits
People will want to work
Will the government give the British person TOP priority.
The last I doubt as they always give immigrants first choice.
Therefore, in my previous blogs where I stated that 95% of all new jobs go to immigrants from Europe, will not change a thing.
In other European countries, they ALWAYS give preference to their own and this makes sense doesn't it?
Except in the UK!!!
I wonder if the government has thought of this yet as it is a MUST?

Immigrants to be capped

At long last immigration is to be capped at least until April next year.
The problem is not the non-Europeans but for nations like Polish and the ex-Russian state type of people.
95% of all new jobs going to these people. This will not help the British economy as they send their money and our benefits back home! Did you know that an Estonian can come to the UK claim Unemployment as well as child benefit without his family being in the UK!!!
The government needs to stop and think about giving jobs to the British otherwise the debt on benefits will continue to rise! Haven't they realized this yet??
There is still no move to increase apprenticeships either, so this is the base for all school leavers. My son a qualified Electrical installer with the appropriate Cuty and Guilds cannot find an apprenticeship, so how do they think it will work???

George Soros

After months of me going on about the Euro breaking up, Mr Soros agrees! I wonder if he has just stated to read my blog?
Cynically, he may have just taken a short position!

Government Hypocracy

Diane Abbott rises again like a Phoenix.
Playing the race trump she is sending her child to a fee paying achool, which is all against Labour ethics.
For years she has been a parasite and a hypocrit.
She has used all of these credits to her advantage over the years. How comes she was recently advocated as a new head of the Labout party - I don't think so.
Put her to the dungeons and throw the key!!

N.I.C.E

Commonly known as:
National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence.
This body of Medical people not only tell us what is good and what is bad, but also they approve or not life saving medication.
Today they are telling us that 40,000 people die each year on Junk food.
What they are not saying is that Junk food is cheaper than healthy food and for those hundreds of thousands of people below the poverty line or near to it, use Junk food to initially keep themselves alive.
Perhaps they should also tell us what is a healthy economic situation !!
If we were all healthy then perhaps we wouldn't need such a bunch of useless nerds.
Besides, shoudln't they at first tackle the nursing profession. How many nurses have a healthy diet and stay trim etc. Most of them in Essex, UK are over weight and unhealthy!!
I think the colooquialism is the "teapot calling the kettle black "

Public Sector Pensions

In todays paper it headlines that Public Sector will have to pay more for their pensions. Well it's about time. We ALL know that going into the Public Sector was mainly for the pension and secondary because of the little work they have to do.
All that is happening now, is the real world is being brought into play. So they will pay the going rate for pensions, I hope. This has been a drain on tax payers money for many years and now because of the 'crunch' the Conservatives are being realistic. There will be an outcry of course, but then at least they have a job! What we need now is that they actually work for their money and put the hours in. Unlike Kuwait that voted and agreed yesterday for the government offices to work 7am until 12noon!!

My prediction coming ealrier

18th June I stated that everyone should be prepared for huge rise in taxes and a severe Austerity package.
It seems it is earlier than October that I mentioned.
Cutting Child credit hurts me alot, but what can we do. Short term hurt for long term gain!!

Severe Austerity

Expect some severe tax rises in October budget.
The situation is becoming bad in Europe and it hasn't really hit home yet.
UK will not want to get caught up with them. I expect that the UK will in fact be in a better state when it is unleashed in Europe.
People should pay off debts fast and stop taking holidays they can't afford eventhough they haven't been away for a couple of years or so. Become liquid as much as possible.

Bank of England to cap Mortgages

Capping mortgages isn't going to help the housing market pick up.
The Governments idea is to make a cap of 75% of the value of the purchase of the house.
So that means saving 25% deposit or borrowing from someone else.
Many months ago I suggested a different way to tackle this problem and also the credit crisis.
My solution is to make all loans, credit cards etc registered with the Bank of England.
Employees salaries would be registered as well from the Employer.
The rule is that not more than 50% of the salary per month can go on debt repayments.
This will prove a control point for debt but also would not reduce value of houses.
The Bank of England capping mortgages will make matters worse and reduce prices of property and therefore, more negative equity and more chance of defaults on mortgage payments.

BP vs Bophal

What amazes me is the apparent arrogance of the U.S. of ignoring the Bophal catastrophe of an American company but are outraged by the catastrophe of BP, not proven to be at fault yet!.
At this strage no one appears to have died because of the oil spill, but it threatens the economy of Florida mainly.
It seems that 25 years means that people should forget the thousands that died and the thousands that are having continuous health problems.
However, President Obama has called in BP and trying to stop any dividends being paid out, but the U.S., has been reluctant to pay peanuts in comparison to Indians.
Isn't this " Double standards" by the yanks??
Perhaps the yanks should have a reality check

Rampant Rabbits to be banned!!

Well it seems that the Eu is full of men!

They are inadvertently looking to ban Rampant Rabbits, the womens favourite sex tool, because of a ban on rubber and plastic goods. Now what are the female MEP's going to do when they are away from their husbands? They will have to use their expenses to get some gigolos, instead of the sex tool.

Can you imagine what the female MEP's will think of as a stupid rule, if they are so frustrated???

It's hard to imagine isn't it!

England vs USA World Cup

Logically speaking, I guess that if there is a chance of any terrorism this match is the ideal one for any terrorist!
Be careful out there!!

Lib-Dem deputy leader announced

Simon Hughes is the new Deputy Leader for the Liberal-Democrats.
Nothing wrong in that!
Except 2 things.
1. Why have they chosen another Gay person in a senior role
2. Simon Hughes has never done anything of any use for the Lib-Dems. He stays on the media bandwagon every so often, but has never fronted a major cause or law.
The Lib-Dems are looking a bit fluffy as a group and should perhaps change their yellow colour to Pink!!

Austerity

Expect:
Cut down NHS and More Private Medical care
Greeks to pull out of Euro within next 2 years
Expect Portugal to have same problems as Greece.
Spain will dig itself out, but expect Strikes and demonstrations

Action is needed not words

We are currently hearign about drastci cuts in government spending, but there are no timings. I would think it will be about October budget time, but surely a quicker response is required. No surprise that the government is finding out how much debt the UK is in after Labour, but if you are a regular reader of my blog you would have been warned months ago.
What is required is a clear head, support and determination to sort this problem out. Yes it will be hard to begin with but eventually it will reap rewards.
So what are we to see:
++Static to lower salaries
++Higher taxes
++Local and National Government budget reductions
++Local council facilities worsen due to lower budgets
++Unemployment from Local government offices
++Civil service needs to be cut
++Increase in theft
++Increase in strikes
++Companies closing down

However, this is better than is expected for Europe in the next couple of years!!

++The one thing that you can count on though is that MP's will still line their pockets.
++MEP's will not reduce their spending and expenses, because it's a secret society of bungs!!

Question: How can the European parliament be in a city that is always on the brink of bankruptcy and yet always pulls the rabbit out of the hat????

Croatia to join Eu- Another waste of space

What are the Eu politicians playing at?
Croatia is a tourist trap and has a stubbornly high unemployment rate, a growing trade deficit and uneven regional development. The state retains a large role in the economy, as privatization efforts often meet stiff public and political resistance. While macroeconomic stabilization has largely been achieved, structural reforms lag because of deep resistance on the part of the public and lack of strong support from politicians. The EU accession process should accelerate fiscal and structural reform. While long term growth prospects for the economy remain strong, Croatia will face significant pressure as a result of the global financial crisis. Croatia's high foreign debt, anemic export sector, strained state budget, and over-reliance on tourism revenue will result in higher risk to economic stability over the medium term.

This sounds like another Greece waiting to happen.
Croatia doesn't meet the entrance criteria surely and certainly not the Euro.
I suggest that the politicians have been offered holiday homes!!!!!

UK funding Palestinians!

I heard on the radio today in Abu Dhabi that the UK is providing funding to the Palestinians for Education and other things.
How stupid and gullablke are the UK politicians????
1. The arabs won't fund them because they can't be trusted after the Gulf war.
2. The money will go to 2 places. The pockets of the leaders and Hamas a terrorist group!!

It's just unbelievable how the UK gives it's money away and yes us tax payers cash to so called causes whne we are trying to balance our books !!!

Mr Obama the First and Last Black President

Knowing that Mr Obama is in trouble, it's likely to mean that he will be the First and Last Black President of the USA!
So I guess we all have to wait for the first Lady President of the USA!
I opt for Sandra Bullock!! or maybe Sarah Palin.
Anyone back either of these or another suggestion????
Please post a comment

Backlash against UK over BP in USA

Talk of a backlash against the UK over BP and the oil spillage off the coast of Florida and Louisiana.
Good god! if they are upset with the Brits then they have NO friends left!!
No one knows yet ( or not telling) why this failed. However, isn't it best to find out why first.
Obviously it isn't good about the pollution etc but for crying out loud, the Americans failed to sign the Kyoto agreement and have been bashing out carbon into the atmosphere for years, potentially killing us all!!
BP will have to compensate many people in the USA and so they should, but that's if it's their mistake. What happens if it's a manufacturing problem, what happens if it's an 'Act of God' etc etc.
There are a number of other factors here to be looked at:
Mr Obama is in the crap! He needs a diversion. His medical Bill has gone tits up and it needs to be funded by raising taxes!
If it's an 'Act of God' then the insurance companies don't have to pay out to BP or the business people in USA.
The USA has benefited from BP over the years, as well as Shell etc. It appears that BP were willing to drill down this deep and any pipe going down by up to 5 miles does seem to be prone to breakage of some kind.
The USA citizens ( or a large percentage) only panis when it happens on their shores.
++WW II for instance. Only when Pearl Harbour was bombed did they do anything.
++Al Qaeda, didn't give a damn until 9/11
Just to mention 2 items.
So in this incident, they didn't give a damn about Risk Management, as they hadn't had too many problems before, now that this has happened they haven't got a clue except bash the Brits!!
Eventually, this will blow over, BP will be charged for relationship sake, the fisherman (dying breed) in Souht Coast of USA will be compensated for more than they would have earned anyway, the clean up will happen and everyone will be happy.
Then the Yanks can go onto bashing Obama again

Dutch Elections and immigration

In Almere in Hoilland about 30% of residents are Muslim.
It appears that it is an enclave of Muslims and although they say they speak Dutch they still uphold their culture, which is fair enough, however, what isn't so good is that they are building their own social group and now threatening for unrest if Geert Wilders gets his votes and becomes the 4th largets party in Holland. This to me typifies the Muslim groups. If things don't go their way they start to threaten, but they say they are tolerant. It seems only if it's in their favour. What they are doing is proving Geert Wilders correct in his fears and it's likely to get worse. I can see a build up of resent from the Dutch and less tolerance. I spoke to a few older people in Holland when I lived there this year and they were not happy with the immigration policy in Holland. Although the older people are likely not to vote for Wilders, their siblings are.
I can see this spreading across Europe and is already gathering pace in Russia, Germany, Belgium, France.

Al Qaeda threaten to abduct a Saudi Royal

This is the best news for years.
If they do this, then this will be the beginning of the downfall of the Al Qaeda. To take a Royal in Saudi is a BIG NO NO!
The Saudi's will throw money at a cause to get him and therefore fund the USA and the Brits to do it.

LIB-DEMs

I just can't understand how arrogant these people are in Parliament.
The new Treasury minister Mr Alexander took over from a liar Liberal who resigned, only to be found out that he is also suspect of failings on expenses. These people think they will never be found out and obviosly the party members do not carry out due diligence on their members!
The Liberal party over the years are rife with allegations or exposures and mainlky 'cos they seem to be gay.
So I come back to my old saying " if they are gay, they don't know which way to turn and are confused in their mental reasoning"!
I have known a number of gay people over the years and some are very nice people, but they are always having traumas and can't make decisions, or in extreme cases end up commiting suicide.Like my distant relative Alexander McQueen, God rest his soul!
SO basically, the Coalition is doomed!! Lucky if it lasts 2 years!!

War in the Middle East

I think that within the next 10 years there will be a conflict in the Middle East!
" and there isn't one now?" i hear you say!
Consider this - what keeps humans alive apart from food?
Yes Water! and this is diminishing fast.
The situation is that Lebanon are the biggest wasters and let millions of gallons go into the Med each year, which they don't use.
Israel is very sophisticated , but is also blocking the Palestinians supply.
There are dams being built and even the Nile is drying up.
Go back to the Bible where it says that rivers are over flowing and today they are very low.
This is not good.
This is why I think that there will be a conflcit!! Mark my words.
