Action is needed not words

We are currently hearign about drastci cuts in government spending, but there are no timings. I would think it will be about October budget time, but surely a quicker response is required. No surprise that the government is finding out how much debt the UK is in after Labour, but if you are a regular reader of my blog you would have been warned months ago.
What is required is a clear head, support and determination to sort this problem out. Yes it will be hard to begin with but eventually it will reap rewards.
So what are we to see:
++Static to lower salaries
++Higher taxes
++Local and National Government budget reductions
++Local council facilities worsen due to lower budgets
++Unemployment from Local government offices
++Civil service needs to be cut
++Increase in theft
++Increase in strikes
++Companies closing down

However, this is better than is expected for Europe in the next couple of years!!

++The one thing that you can count on though is that MP's will still line their pockets.
++MEP's will not reduce their spending and expenses, because it's a secret society of bungs!!

Question: How can the European parliament be in a city that is always on the brink of bankruptcy and yet always pulls the rabbit out of the hat????
