A woman in the North of England has claimed STG500,000 for various things from 4 local council jobs!
Now you would think that on an application and some research you could find out after 1-2 times this woman is non-employable, but no the PC brigade in the councils say you can't refuse someone, especially if they are well in with the Unions or lawyers.
Anyway...
Pauline Scanlon who is more like shrek than an vulnerable young lady, has lodged 4 complaints over the course of 10 years whereby she has worked for a series of public bodies in junior roles.
Mrs Scanlon lives in North Yorks with her retired husband has been awarded STG480,000 from Redcar and Cleveland council. She had accused her employer of sex descrimination, victimisation and unfair dismissal.
The settlement finalised this year amounted to:
STG100,000 for loss of earnings ( junior role!)
STG150,000 for future loss of earnings
STG87,000 pension loss
STG20,900 for injury to feelings
Her salary was STG 25,000 (again junior role!)
She said that things went bad after she complained that the council had breached it's own policy by appointing a HR manager without advertising the post.
Now her role is unclear from the newspaper report.
She is reported to be rude and unfriendly etc, which I can believe for someone who habitually takes employers to court.
But what is laughable is that she claims :
She didn't like a colleagues calendar that showed Robin Williams trousers around his ankles
Someone lifting her coat and brushing their hand on her bottom and thigh and displayed a soft porn calendar.
This is a true sponger who looks for places to sue.
PLEASE NOTE : DO NOT EMPLOY THIS WOMAN and put a black list on her immediately!!!
