Are the West politicians really that stupid about the Middle East?

So first Tunisia and then Egypt.
Now the West politicians want countries like:
Bahrain
Kuwait
Qatar
Saudi Arabia
Oman
Iran
Syria
etc

All of these to become democratic!

What they forget is that they have 100's of years history of Tribal rule.
Why on earth will they want democracy??

It isn't going to happen.

Look at the mess the West is in, why would they even consider it??
