The riots, unemployment and a fix!

Since the riots I have been reading some of the articles where the youth are being interviewed.
Today the unemployed went up in the UK by 38,000 and jobless benefits surged 37,100 last month.
Youth unemployment rose by 15,000 (16-24 year olds) 20 20.2% or 949,000.
So if we can take this all into context we may find the reason as to what is going on.

The youths interviewed are predominantly black. Most are illiterate and have no prospects.
Years ago these people would still find jobs in the manufacturing industries. Now we have none or very few!
So now they can only seem to go on the dole and claim benefits, which generally stop after 27 weeks.
So then they are left with nothing.
Their days are spent on the street doing nothing. So this is where the gang culture comes in, because they are bored and need something to fill their days. A bit of excitement.

On top of this 99% of all new jobs are being filled by immigrants whether permanent or temporary like the polish, Lithuanians, Latvians etc. All of these people will claim benefits in the UK. They even claim child allowance eventhough their families are back in their own countries. Hence, why I say the UK has exported their economy. Anything earned or given goes directly back to their own countries. This in turn means that the economy here is not improved with expenditure as our population can't get a job but immigrants can.

So back to our Youth. Most seem to want jobs that pay more than benefits if they get them. Most want discipline and respect.
At a time when the government is cutting budgets for the Armed Forces there is a lack of thinking of common sense.
We have a lot of youngsters on the street doing nothing. So take them off the street and put them in the National Service. In this, they will not have children at the age of 16 and claim benefits putting a strain on the social benefits payments. They can learn a trade even if they have not had correct education, which by the way is the fault of the government with their correctness and teachers not willing to help these youth with difficulties. They are termed as disruptive!
Once they are in the Forces then use their fitness and give them a purpose. Take Denmark as an example. Their conscripts drive outpatient ambulances and other useful things for their population.
Think of many items that they can do which is a cheaper option to save money. Conscripts will be able to train to go to war as well. All in all provide training, education, respect and a purpose. Then there are no riots or gangs, but a useful army of people.
National Service will also apply to immigrants who stay here full time, there can be NO separation.
This also includes Muslims and other religions! Pacifists or exclusion will NOT be paid anything in benefits unless physically impaired.

Skilled trade people are on benefits because as I said 99% of new jobs are given to immigrants. Can you imagine IF we go to their country this will happen. Of course not! So official or not, don't allow them the opportunity before local population.

Housing should build more council houses for skilled workers to get work. Priority go to local population and not to immigrants.

Since the government came in, they promised 300,000 apprenticeships. This has not occured, so it's no wonder we have so many youth on the dole.

People who have their benefits stopped, fall off the unemployment count, so as I said a few months ago add another 500,000 to the unemployment figure of 2,490,000.
The job centre uses agents to find job seekers work at a cost of Stg13,000 per person. however, the people who have their benefits stopped cannot get this help!

The government could bring in again the payments to employers who will take apprentices on. This will help!

As we have sold the soul of the manufacturing industry and given up with the banks, make them employ people and help with their education after they leave school. Once the youth leave school they find it difficult to live or even to get a bus because they can't read. So then they are more willing to learn because they want to! A big difference.

So in my view there are some fixes available. However, I doubt the government will do any of this, because they have economists who play with figures but not people and common sense!
